HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 75 RESOLUTION NO. 75 A RESOLUTION CANVA:S~ING THE VOTE HELD APRIL 12, 1960 The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as follows: WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in the City of on Tuesday, the 12th day of April, 1960 and was conducted in form and manner as required by the laws of the State of California governing the election o General Law Cities, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, determined and declared as follows: That in Precinct "1" being consolidation of Precincts ~State and County elections: The whole number of persons voted for was 2; The whole number of votes cast was 288~, including 70 absentee ballots; That the namesof the persons voted for, the offices for which they were voted, and the number of votes received by each of said persons in each of said precincts, together with the absentee votes, together with the whole number of votes which they received in the entire city are as follows: Names of Persons ~ Precincts Ab- voted for 1 2 3 ~ 5 6 7 8 9 10 sent Total Burton R. Brazil and Richard V. Drake, each elected a member of the City Council for the full term of four years. RESOLVED FURTHER: That the City Clerk shall enter upon the records of this Council the results of said General Muni- cipal election and shall deliver to each person elected a certificate of Election duly signed and authenticated by him and he shall impose the constitutional oath and have them subscribe thereon, whereupon they shall be inducted to the respective offices to which ~hey have been elected.
