Sheet Nos. 3274-3275-3280-E Schedule No. LS-I STREET AND HIGHWAY LIGHTING APPLICABILITY This schedule is applicable to servic~ to street, highway and other public outdoor lighting installa- tions, using incandescent filament or mercury vapor lamps with bracket or mast arm construction, and supplied generally from overhead wood pole or partial underground steel pole distribution lines, where the Company owns and maintains the entire equipment. Type of Service: The Company reserves the right to supply either "multiple" or "series" service. 2. Annum Burning SChedule: The above rates apply to lamps which will be turned on and off once each night in accordance with a regular barsing schedule agreeable to the customer but not exceeding 4,100 hours per year for all-night service and 2,050 hours per year for midnight service. 3. Operating Schedules Other Than AII-Ni ht and Midnight: Rates for regular operating schedules other than full all-night but not midnight wlY{ be the midnight rates plus or minus, respectively, for each half hour per night more or less than midnight service, one-~leventh of the difference between the mid- night and the all-night rate, computed to the neaxest whole cent. This adjustment will apply only to lamlm on regular operating schedules which do not exceed 4500 hours per year. 4. Facilities: The above rates are applicable to street lighting equipment mounted on wood poles or on steel poles of a partiff underground distribution system. Where a separate pole is required to support street lighting equipment only, a metal pole will be installed at the customer's request if the customer elects to pay the difference between the installed costs of a wood pole and a metal pole. The Company will furnish ths metal pole at its expense for an additional monthly charge of $2.00. Concrete poles will be installed in Humboldt Division and in the Port Bragg Area at the customer's request in lieu of metal poles. The addi- tional monthly charge for such concrete pole~ will bo $1.25 per pole. Where additional steel distribution poles are installed in partial underground systems because of desired street light spacing, the customer shall pay the difference between the installed costs of wood poles and the steel poles. In addition, with a partial underground system, the customer shall pay the installed co~t of all conduit for use of street lights only, Advice Letter No. 199-E Issued by Date Filed March 27, 1963 Decision No. S.L.
