RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION AND ABANDON~NT
OF PORTION OF CHALET CLOTILDE DRIVE,
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby ordain as
follows:
Section 1: Pursuant to Chapter 2 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
and pursuant to Resolution No 278__ heretofore passed and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Saratoga on the _4~th day of A_uJlUst .... ,
1965, hearing was held on this Counctl's proposal to vacate and abandon the
hereinafter described portion of the hereinafter described public street,
which hearing was held on the ::ls_t_ ... day of Sept_e~ber , 1965, at the hour
of 8:00 o'*clock P.M. of said day, at the Council Chambers of the City Council,
City Hall, Fruitvale Avenue, Saratoga, California, and the City Council makes
the following findings, conclusions and order as heretnafter set forth.
S.eC~t~_oR 2: The City Council finds, from the evidence submitted,
that the hereinafter described portion of the hereinafter
described street is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes,
and the City Council further finds that at least ten (10) days prior to the
aforesaid hearing said portion of said street was duly and regularly posted
with not less than three (3) copies of notices of said street vacation and
of said hearing which notices were not posted more than 300 ft. apart.
NOW TtIEREFORE, the City Council makes the following order:
S_ect!on 3: The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby orders
and declares that the following described mortion of
Chalet Clotilde Drive be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned.
Said portion of said street is more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northwesterly line of Pierce Road ~tth
the 'southwesterly line of Chalet Clotilde Drive, formerly known as Gaspar
Court, as shown on record of survey map recorded in Book 148 of ~aps, at pare
54, Santa Clara County Records; thence, along said line of Chalet Clotilde
Drive, North 15' 13' 45" West 57.81 feet and northerly along a curve to the
riSht tangent to last described course, having a radius of 130 feet, a central
angle of 25° 43' 24", an arc distance of 58.74 feet; thence South 79° 20' 21"
East 20.00 feet; thence from a tangent that bears South 10° 39' 39" West,
southerly along a curve to the left having a radius of 110 feet, a central
angle of 25° 53' 24", an arc distance of 49,71 feet; thence South 15° 13'
45" East 60.14 feet to a point in the northeasterly prolongation of said
northwesterly line of Pierce Road; thence along said prolongation South
81e 25' West 20.14 feet to the point of beginning.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held on the 1_ day of
