A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8 TO INCREASE
THE LIMIT ON EXPENDITURES WHICH CAN BE AUTHORIZED
BY THE CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the growth of Saratoga and the decreasing value of the
dollar have combined to increase drastically the expenditures of the
City:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 8 adopted
December 20, 1956 be amended as follows:
SECTION 1: Item A of Resolution No. 8 entitled; C~pital Expendi-
tures is hereby amended to read as follows:
(A) Capital Expenditures: To authorize expenditures
previously approved in the budget to the limit of
$2500 through December 31, 1969 and thereafter
$3500.00. Expenditures in excess of this amount
or expenditures which were not included in the
budget, must be presented to t~e Mayor for Council
approval.
SECTION 2: Item B of Resolution No. 8 entitled O.R~ration and
Maintenance Expenditures is hereby amended to read
as follows:
(g) Operating and Malntenance Expenditures: To
authorize ogerating and maintenance expenditures
approved in the budget to a limit of $2500 through
December 31, 1969 and thereafter $3500 per quarter.
Expenditures in excess of this amount, or expendi-
tures which were not included in the budget, must
be presented to the Mayor for Council approval.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and passed by the Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting held
on the 5th day of November, 1969, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Robbins, Dwyer, Sanders, Smith
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Tyler (~L-,~
