RESOLUTION ADOPTING RULES AND REGULATIONS
RE PAYMENT IMPLEMENTATION AND RELOCATION
ASSISTANCE UNDER CHAPTER 16, DIVISION 7,
TITLE 1, OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE
The City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1: Reference is hereby made to the State
Relocation' 'Gufd'elfnes adopted by the California Commission of
Housing and Community Development on October 17, 1973, under
the legislative mandate contained in AB 1040 of the 1972
legislative session, which guidelines closely parallel and
are consistent with the guidelines developed by the Federal
Office of Management and Budget pursuant to Public Law 91-646
and copy of which State Relocation Guidelines is on file with'
the City Clerk of this City, and which shall hereafter be
referred to as the "State Guidelines".
Section 2: Pursuant to Government Code Section 7267.8
of the State o'~alifomia, the hereinabove referred to State
Guidelines are hereby adopted as the rules and regulations
applicable in this City to implement payments and to administer
relocation assistance under the provisions of Chapter 16
(Sections 7260 through 7274) of Title 1 of the Government Code.
Se.c..tion 3: Notwithstanding the foregoing, with
respect to any Federally-funded project, the City shall make
relocation assistance payments and provide relocation advisory
assistance as may from time to time be required by Federal law.
Section 4: Pursuant to Government Code Section 7261.6,
the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy
of the within resolution with such central Relocation Agency
as may be established by the County of Santa Clara.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga
held on the 17thday of ,A~ri~ , 1974, by the following vote:
