RESOLUTION NO. 971
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEDICATION OF PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as
follows:
SECTION 1: Reference is hereby made to the hereto attached
Offer to Dedicate Easement for Walkway Purposes
along the westerly right-of-way of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road,
southerly of Brookwood Lane.
SECTION 2: The aforesaid Offer of Dedication is hereby accepted
by the City of Saratoga and is thereby and hereby
declared to be a public easement of the City of Saratoga.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held on
the 3rd
day of

PURPOSES
For valuable consideration, the undersigned owners of the herein-
after described real property, hereby warranting that they constitute
all of the owners thereof, for themselves, their heirs, successors
rPnd assigns, hereby irrevocably offer to dedicate to the city of
C3Saratoga, a Municipal Corporation, an easement for a public walkway
::ãuQfler, over, and across that certain real property situated in the
.cœty of Saratoga, county of Santa Clara, State of California. Said

Beginning at the point of intersection of 'the original centerline

~n the office of the Santa Clara County Recorder on the 22nd day of July,
1946 in Book 11 of Maps at Page 21; thence running along said centerline ot

South 89 50' West 20.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. Said TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING is also on the westerly right-of-way line of said Saratoga-Sunny-

Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road Nort 0 10' West 94.20 feet to a non-tangent p01nt on
a curve to the right with a radius of 20.00 feet¡ thence from a tangent bearing
South 410 30' 31" East running along said curve to the right through a central

angle of 41 20' 31" for an arc length of 14.43 feet to a point of tangency on
the previously described westerly right-of-way line of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road;
thence running along said westerly right-of-way of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road South
00 10' East 81.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.

The undersigned understand that the within offer can only be accepted
by resolution of the city Council of the city of Saratoga, and re-
cordation of this instrument shall not and will not constitute accept-
ance of the within offer to dedicate. This offer shall be irrevocable
and shall be binding upon our heirs, personal representatives, suc-
cessors and assigns. The plural as used herein shall include the
singular, and the singular shall include the plural.
