A RESOLUTIC~ O[ THE SARA~DGA CITY COUNCIL
~ING SHETIRY WILLIAMS FOR OUTSTANDING
SERVICE ~0 THE CITY OF SARATOGA
~REAS, Shelley Willjams has served the City of Saratoga between the
period of March 1977 and January 1981 as a Planning Conrtissioner; and,
WHEREAS, Shelley's primary concern as a Ccrmissioner was to insure that
the residents of Saratoga had an opportunity to express their opinion; and,
WHEREAS, Shelley added a realistic dimension to the Planning Process
wit.hin Saratoga by effectively questioning and analyzing applicants, Con~nis-
sione_rs and staff with regarding to feasibility and cost of project; and,
WHEREAS, he is still actively involved in all matters regarding the
F~lti-M0dal Transportation Corridor; and,
WHEREAS, he has participated as Chairman of the Multi-Modal Transpor-
tation Task Force No. 85, which is a regional committee dealing with trans-
portation issues throughout the Santa Clara County;
NC~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
commend Shelley Williams for his dedication and service to the City of Saratoga,
and extends to him its appreciation and best wishes for the future.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 4th
day of February, 1981, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: Councilmembers Clevenger, Jensen, Mallory, Watson, and Mayor Callon
NOES: None
