OOb~NDING THE VF.~ AGE ~%SK FONZE
WHEREAS, the Village .Task Force was .established in ccmcept on November 9,
19'84, to recrmmm~d Caunc/1 actic~ c~ various. issues' ccmcerning the 'Village
are of SatarEna, and
WHEREAS, the Task Force was ~ actually formed in January, 1985, and began
operating sh3rtly thereaf~e=~r, and
WHEREAS, the members of the .Task Force have devoted rm~h time and energy to
researd~, public. meetings, and Task ~orce. meetings, and
WHEREAS, the members of the Task Force are, in almost all cases, members of
another City cfmmlission, of the City Council, of the Chamber of Ccnmerce,
or of the Board of the Village Fetchants, and
WHEREAS, although they first 'spent three m~nths reviewing the reccnTaendations
of previous groups, they a~lished their goal of producing a report 'by
May 15, and did so with no expenditure of either City funds or City staff
NC~, ~{EREEDRE, BE IT' RESOLVED, that the City Ccuncil of the City of Saratoga
ccmnends
