which is a resolution conditionally approving assignment of the franchise for
cable te!~ision sez~ice.
2251 is not the correct number for that resolution.
The correct number is 2259 and it was adopted on 7/17/85.
RESOLUTION NO. 2251
WHEREAS, the Heritage Preservation Commission of the City of Saratoga was permitted
by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Kvamme to use their residence, known as the Knorp/Carter Home
at 19490 Glen Una Drive in Saratoga as one of the Heritage Homes for the Saratoga
Heritage Home Tour, and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Kvamme have preserved and maintained in its restored
condition, this residence, originally built in 1924 by the Knorp family and later
occupied by the Fred Carter family, with the restoration commencing in 1967 by the
Mc~on family, and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Kvamme have continued to restore the building and the
gardens to meet the original design and appearance of this residence to preserve it
as a heritage for the people of the City of Saratoga, and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Kvamme did accept the challenge of having many
interested persons of the community, who have an interest in the City of Saratoga
and its homes, tour their residence on April 14, 1985, on behalf of The Heritage
Preservation Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saratoga City Council extends its sincere
appreciation, and hereby congratulates
as a 1985 Heritage Home Tour Participant, for their special interest and service to
their community. The Council, on behalf of The Heritage Preservation Commission and
all of our citizens, commends them and looks forward to their association with the
City of Saratoga for many more years.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City
Council at a regu]_~r meeting held on the 3rd day of July, 1985, by unanimous vote.
