HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2575.17 RESOLUTION NO. 2575.17 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA INCREASING APPROPRIATIONS AND AMENDING THE FY 1990 BUDGET WHEREAS at its March 21, 1990, meeting the City Council agreed to the participation, in principle, in a joint powers agreement with other cities in and the County of Santa Clara for the purpose of brining the San Francisco Giants to Santa Clara County; and WHEREAS, at the initial meeting of the proposed joint powers agency, Saratoga's share of the prorata cost to prepare economic and financial feasibility studies was set at $1,000; and WHEREAS, in order to assure the continued participation of Sara- toga in this joint effort it has been recommended by the City Manager that the following transfer of appropriations and in- crease in the present budget appropriations be made: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the budget of the City of Saratoga adopted by Resolution No. 2575 be amended as follows: Transfer:$1,000 (0001-2000) from Fund Balance $1,000 (7071-5582) to Memberships Purpose: To pay for membership in a joint powers agency to bring the San Francisco Giants to Santa Clara County. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 2nd day of May, 1990, by the following vote: AYES: Cbuncil~s Anderson, Moyles, Peterson and Mayor Clevenger NOES: None ABSENT: Oounciln~ Stutzman MAYOR ~f ATTEST: DEPUTY CITY CLERK Printed on recycled paper.
