RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
COMMENDING GLEN DOUGLAS
WHEREAS, Glen Douglas has served on the Finance Advisory
Committee for over three years, during the last year of which he
served as Chair, and
WHEREAS, he has been of great service to the committee in its
work on reviewing various City projects, including the excess
parking space in Village Parking District #3, which resulted in
additional revenue to the City; the financial considerations
involved in the proposed remodeling and expansion of Civic
Center; extension of the Utility User's Tax and its impact on
future city finances; and the selection of an independent
auditor, and
WHEREAS, his willingness to devote his time and energy to complex
projects of long-term significance to Saratoga and its residents
has been particularly valuable to the Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that
GLEN DOUGLAS
is hereby commended and thanked for his many hours of hard work
on the Finance Advisory Committee.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 3rd day of
January, 1990, by the following vote:
AYES: Council/enters Anderson, Moyles, Peterson, Stutzman and Mayor Clevenger
