RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
COMMENDING BARRETT MOORE
WHEREAS, Barrett Moore has served on the Library Commission since
March of 1987 and has now resigned, and
WHEREAS, Barrett participated in a number of important matters
considered by the Commission during the past years, and
WHEREAS, these matters included recommending installation of a
pay phone on library grounds, encouraging the appointment of a
Library Commissioner to the County Library Commission, increasing
City funding of additional Sunday hours, nomination of Friends of
the Libraries for CALTAC's annual award, which they won, advising
the County Library on equipment and services for the Saratoga
Library, discussion of ways to enhance circulation, study of the
need for possible future expansion of the Library building, and
arranging for a special presentation on the Library system's
literacy program, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that
BARRETT MOORE
is hereby commended and thanked for her service on the Library
Commission.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 7th day of March,
1990, by the following vote:
