RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
ACCEPTING OFFER OF DEDICATION
WHEREAS, an offer of dedication of easement for public street
and road purposes recorded on December 13, 1972 in Book 0153
of Official Records, page 306.
has been made pertaining to certain real property situated in the
City of Saratoga, County of Santa Clara, State of California, and
WHEREAS, the legal
description of such property is attached as Exhibit "A" hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the offer of dedication pertaining to said easement has
never been accepted by either the County of Santa Clara or the
City of Saratoga, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that acceptance of the
offer of dedication pertaining to said easement would be in the
public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
accepts the offer of dedication with respect to the easement
hereinabove described and shown on Exhibit A attached hereto.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to record a
certified copy of this resolution in the Office of the Recorder
for Santa Clara County, California.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 7th day of
August , 1990, by the following vote:

BEGINNING at the Southeasterly corner of that certain 0.858
acre parcel of land shown on the Map of the "Record of
Survey of the lands of Glen Hartranft being a portion Of the
Quito Rancho", which Map was recorded in Book 80 of Maps, at
page 16, Santa Clara County Records; thence leaving said
point of beginning along the southerly line of said 0.858
acre parcel, North 64· 41' 00" West 94.38 feet and North 81°
41' 00" West 89.06 feet to the Southwesterly corner thereof;
thence along the Westerly line of said 0,858 acre parcel
North 0° 40' 00" East 208.02 feet to the Northwesterly
corner thereof; thence along the Northerly line of said
0,858 acre parcel South 81" 34' 00" East 26.96 feet; thence
leaving last said Northerly line along the arc of a curve to

For ~aluable consideration, the undersigned owners of the hereinafter
described real property,..hereby warranting that they constitute all of
the owners thereof, for themselves, their heirs, successors and assigns,
hereby irrevocably offer to dedicate to the City of Saratoga, a ~unicipal
Corporation, an easement and right of way fdr a public city street
(including all trees or growth presently growing or as may be grown
within said right of wa~r) upon, under, over and across that certain
real property situated in the City of SaratoGa, County of Santa Clara,

The undersigned understand that the within offer can only be accepted
by resolution of the City Council of the City of ,SaratOga pursuant
to Streets and Highways Code Section 1806 of the State of California,
and recordation of this instrument shall not and will not constitute
acceptance of the within offer to dedicate. This offer shall be irrevo-
cable and shall be binding upon our heirs, personal representatives,
successors and assigns. The plural as used herein shall include the
singular, and the singular shall include the plural.
