HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2690 RESOLUTION NO. 2690 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA DECLARING WEEDS GROWING ON CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE WHEREAS, weeds are growing in the Cit of Saratoga upon certain streets, sidewalks, highways, roads an~ private property; and WHEREAS, said weeds attain such growth as to become a fire menace or are otherwise noxious or dangerous; and WHEREAS, said weeds constitute a public nuisance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratoga, as follows: 1. That weeds do now constitute a public nuisance; 2. That said nuisance exists upon all the streets, sidewalks, highways, roads and rivate property, more particularly described by common name or ~y reference to the tract, block, lot, code area and parcel number on the report prepared by the County Building Official and attached hereto; ~ 3. That it is ordered that Wednesday, the 5th of December, 1990, at a public hearing during a regular meeting which will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Saratoga Civic Theater, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, is hereby fixed as the time and place when objections to the p.roposed destruction or removal of said weeds shall be heard and given due consideration; 4. That the Count Building Official is hereby designated as the person to cause no~ice to be given in the manner and form provid- ed in Article II, Chapter 6 of the Sarato a Municipal Code, and as the person to hereafter cause abatemen~ of such seasonal and recurring nuisance. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a regular meetlng held on the 7th day of November, 1990, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Anderson, Clevenger, Kohler, Monia, and Mayor Stutzman NOES: None ABSENT: None Mayor ~ ....
