The appeal from the Planning Commission was denied and the decision of the Planning Commission was affirmed. 2. The City Council was unable to make the findings required for granting the variance for the same reasons as set forth in the Staff Report to the City Council dated November 16, 1990, the Staff Report to the Planning Commission dated October 24, 1990, and Resolution No. V-90-026 adopted by the Planning Commission on October 24, 1990, and said reports and resolution are incorporated herein by reference. The City Council additionally noted that the applicanrs residence was typical in design to other homes within the neighborhood and to allow a variance in this case based upon the floor plan would set a precedent for all other similarly situated structures. Moreover, the proposal would result in the garage being located too far into the front of the lot in relation to the other homes in the cul- de-sac. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held on the 5th day of December, 1990, by the following vote: AYES: Counci lmembers Anderson, CI evenger, Kohl er, Moni a, and Mayor Stutzman NOES: None ABSENT: None " Mayor ATTEST:
