HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2695 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA COMMENDING RICHARD SIEGFRIED WHEREAS, Richard Siegfried has served on the Planning Commission since August of 1982, twice serving as Chairman, and WHEREAS, Dick also served the City of Saratoga as a member of the Planning Commission from 1978 to 1981, and WHEREAS, Dick actively participated in a number of important matters considered by the Commission during the past several years, particularly the review of San Marcos Heights, the Noise Element of the General Plan, the Air Quality Element, the Residential Design Handbook, the 1984 General Plan Update and numerous other accomplishments, and WHEREAS, Dick's special concern for the hillsides has led to an increased awareness of the significance of this environment, and WHEREAS, Dick has always been concerned with doing what is legal and fair in applying land use principles, and WHEREAS, it is apparent to all who work with him that Dick has the best interests of Saratoga at heart, and WHEREAS, Dick's contributions will be greatly missed by the Planning Commission, the City Council, and the staff. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that RICHARD 8IEGFRIED is hereby commended and thanked for his years of hard work on the Planning Commission, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT we wish him well in the future. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 5th day of December, 1990, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Mayor ATTEST: Deputy City Clerk
