RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
COMMENDING ANN MARIE BURGER
WHEREAS, Ann Marie Burger has served on the Planning Commission
since July of 1984, also serving as Chairman, and
WHEREAS, Ann Marie actively participated in a number of important
matters considered by the Commission during the past several
years, particularly the review of San Marcos Heights, the Noise
Element of the General Plan, the Air Quality Element, the
Residential Design Handbook, revisions to the Design Review
Ordinance, and numerous other accomplishments, and
WHEREAS, Ann Marie's sensitivity to architectural principles led
her to insure that future development was compatible with
Saratoga's neighborhoods, and
WHEREAS, Ann Marie's special concern for all residents resulted
in decisions that considered the needs of existing neighbors to
maintain a high quality of life, and
WHEREAS, it is apparent to all who work with her that Ann Marie
has the best interests of Saratoga at heart, and
WHEREAS, Ann Marie's contributions are numerous and are greatly
appreciated by the Planning Commission, the City Council, and the
staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that
Ann Marie Burger
is hereby commended and thanked for her years of hard work on the
Planning Commission, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT we wish her well in the future.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 6th day of
February, 1991, by the following vote:
