HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 91-10 RESOLUTION NO. 91-10 RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD CERTAIN CONTRACTS PURSUANT TO THE INFORMAL BIDDING PROCESS WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 3 of Chapter 2, Part 3, Division 2 (commencing with Section 21200) of the State Public Contract Code, the Saratoga City Council did, on March 19, 1986, adopt Ordinance No. 71.2, an "informal bidding ordinance" as described in Section 21204 of that Code, and WHEREAS, Section 12-15,060 of Ordinance 71.2 provides that the City Council may, by resolution, delegate to the City Manager or the Maintenance Director or other designated employee of the City the authority to award any particular contract for which informal bids will be obtained pursuant to Article 12-15 of the Saratoga Municipal Code. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Saratoga that such authority is hereby awarded to the City Manager in the case of public projects in excess of $15,000 but not exceeding $50,000. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 6th day of February, 1991, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Anderson, Clevenger, Kohler, Monia, and Mayor Stutzman NOES: None ABSENT: None ATTE ST: Deputy CityC~l ....
