HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 91-37 COMNENDINe ROY CAMERON WHEREAS, Roy Cameron has served on the Heritage Preservation Commission since August of 1983, and WHEREAS, his knowledge of the City's history and background and understanding of urban planning principles has been of great value to the Commission in evaluating heritage resources from a perspective of the City's long-range benefit, and WHEREAS, his willingness to spend time and efforts to obtain information on buildings of historic and architectural significance and his help in documenting historic information for generations to come have been invaluable, and WHEREAS, he also played a leading role in the Commission's highly successful historic house tours and contributed to their great success, and WHEREAS, his professionalism and fine personal qualities were helpful in focusing the Commission's energies in a positive direction. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that ROY CAMERON is hereby commended and thanked for his contribution, in the last eight years, to the Heritage Preservation Commission's efforts to preserve and protect the City's heritage, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT we wish him well in the future and hope he will continue to make himself available as a resource to the Heritage Preservation Commission. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 1st day of May, 1991, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Anderson, Clevenger, Kohler, Monia, and Mayor Stutzman NOES: None ABSENT: None /s/Stutzmqn Mayor ATTEST: /s/tory Deputy Clty Clerk
