RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SARATOGA AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN
LAND USE ELEMENT FOR êE~T~IN, TERRITORY WITHIN
THE CITY IDENTIFIED AS ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBERS
517-19-033 AND 517-19-034, 20301 HILL AVENUE

WHEREAS, the city of Saratoga received an application from
the beneficiary of the smith Estate to amend the General Plan Land
Use Element Designation of Assessor Parc~l Number 517-19-033 and
517-19-034 from a Low Density Residential land use to a Very Low
Density Residential land use for four lots per Exhibit "A"i and
WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the negative declaration;
and
WHEREAS, the city Council held a public hearing on the
proposed amendment on October 16, 1991;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the city of
Saratoga amends the Land Use Element designation reclassifying the
Low Density Residential land use to Very Low Density Residential,
making the following findings:
1. The reclassification is consistent with the goals and
policies set forth in the General Plan;
2. General community welfare and good planning practices are
served by the new classification;
3. The reclassification will not have a significant effect
on the environment. Refer to the Negative Declaration
reviewed by the Planning commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Saratoga city Council, this
16th day of October, 1991 by the following roll call vote:

Councilmembers Anderson, Clevenger, Monia and Mayor Kohler
