HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 91-70 -,._-,--,--,--,--,--,--'--'--'--'--'_.'--'-.'-~I--'.-'._,._,__,____ R&SOLUTION NO. 91-70 RESOLUTIOO OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARKr'03A DECLARIN3 WEEDS GROWING ON CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTY TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE WHEREAS, weeds are growing in the City of Saratoga upon certain streets, sidewalks, highways, roads and private property i and WHEREAS, said weeds attain such growth as to become a fire menace or are otherwise noxious or dangerous; and WHEREAS, said weeds constitute a public nuisance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R'ESJLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saratog-a, as follows: 1. That weeds do oow constitute a public nuisance; 2. That said nuisance exists upon all the streets, sidewalks, highways, roads and private property, ncre particularly described by cOlTlTOn name or by reference to the tract, block, lot, cooe area and parcel number on the report prepared. by the County :Fíre' ,r~a"r·~rH'a,. and attached hereto¡ 3, That it is ordered that Wednesday, the 4th of December, 1991, at a public hearing during a regular meeting which will begin at 7: 30 p,m. in the Saratoga Civic Theater, 13777 Fruitvale Avenue, is hereby fixed as the time and place when objections to the proposed destruction or removal of said weeds shall be heard and 9i van due consideration; 4, That the County .Fi r eJ'a'r s h al- is hereby designated as the person to cause notice to be given in the manner and form provided in Article II, Chapter 6 of the Saratoga M..m.i.cipal Code, and as the person to hereafter cause abatement of such seasonal and recurring nuisance. The above am foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of November J 1991 J by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Anderson, Clevenger, Monia, Stutzman and Mayor Kohler NOES: None k;L¡k;~ ~--_..._"'-'- ABSENT: None ATrEST: ~ é.
