WHEREAS, it appearing that the hereinafter described~fC(!R["ER
portions of Public Utility Easement and Wire Clearance Easement
are no longer necessary for the purposes intended and have not
been in continuous use for the past twelve (12) months, and
RESOLUTION ABANDONING PORTION OF
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT AND
WIRE CLEARANCE EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends that the City Council
abandon said easement,
NO~q, THEREFORE, the city Council of the city of Saratoga
does resolve as follows:
1. The hereinafter described portions of Public utility
Easement and Wire Clearance Easement are hereby found and
detetmined to be no longer necessary for pUblic purposes.
2. Said easement is hereby declared to be vacated and
abandoned. Said portions so vacated as above referred to are
described on the attached Exhibits "A" and "C" and shown on the
attached Exhibits "B" and "D".

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
FOR ABANDONMENT OF PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
All that certain real property situate in the City of Saratoga,
County of Santa Clara, State of California described as follows;
A portion of Lot 27 as shown upon that certain map entitled "Tract
No. 2031, Saratoga Woods" filed March 3, 1958, in Book 91 of Maps
at pages 16 and 17 and a portion of Lot 31 as shown upon that
certain Map entitled "Tract No. 1928, westview" filed July 26,
1957, in Book 84 of Maps at page 35, Santa Clara County Records
described as follows;
Beginning at the most southerly corner of said Lot 27;
Thence from said Point of Beginning along the northwesterly line of
Parcel "A" as shown upon that certain Parcel Map filed August 2-4,
1983, in Book 516 of Maps at page 49, Santa Clara County Records
North 32" 19' 14" East 42.11 feet to a line parallel with and
distant northwesterly 5.00 feet measured at right angles from the
southeasterly line of said Lot 27;
Thence along said line North 39" 08' 21" East 88.86 feet to a
northeasterly line of said Lot 27;
Thence along said line North 67" 16' 39" West 31.13 feet to a line
parallel with and distant southeasterly 5.00 feet measured at right
angles from the most northwest.erly line of said Lot 31;
Thence along said line North 39" 13' DO" East 5.22 feet to a line
parallel with and distant northeasterly 5.00 feet measured at right
angles from said northeasterly line of Lot 27;
Thence along said line South 67" 16' 39" East 41.54 feet to a line
parallel with and distant southeasterly 5.00 feet measured at right
angles from the most southeasterly line of said Lot 27¡
Thence along said line South 39" 08' 21" West 132.20 feet to the
southeasterly line of said Lot 31;
Thence along said line South 76" 08 t .40" West 8.31 feet to the
Point of Beginning.

at pages 16 and 17 Santa Clara County Records being more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of the northwesterly 5.00 feet of the most
southeasterly 10.00 feet. of said Lot 27 that lies within the bounds
of Parcel A as shown upon that certain Parcel Map filed August 24,
1983, in Book 516 of Maps at page 49, Santa Clara County Records.
