RESOLUTION NO. 1Z -0/2- RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA COHMENDING STAN EISNER WHEREAS, stan Eisner has served the City of Saratoga as Interim Planning Director from November 1991 through February 1992 while the City searched for and secured the services of a permanent Director, and WHEREAS, Stan Eisner brought to this assignment his more than twenty-five years of varied experience as a professional urban planner in both the public service and in private business, and WHEREAS, stan not only provided continuity for the City, the Planning Commission, and staff by his immediate involvement in ongoing projects, but sparkled in his efforts to identify and provide solutions to technical problems with various sections of the City's zoning code and weaknesses in administrative processes, and WHEREAS, he also worked effectively with department heads and other members of the management team on interdepartmental projects and programs, and WHEREAS, stan was particularly helpful to this City Council in the guidance and counsel offered in the areas of setting forth the work program for the revision of the City's housing element and development of a work program for taking a proactive course of action to deal with senior housing at the former Paul Masson Winery property on Saratoga Avenue, and WHEREAS, he accomplished all this with a verve and ready wit which made working with him a pleasure for the staff, the Planning Commission, and the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the city of Saratoga does hereby commend stan Eisner for the dedication and enthusiasm he has given his assignment as this city's Interim Planning Director and wishes him continued success and professional satisfaction as he takes up the challenge of serving the County of Ventura as Executive Director of its Local Agency Formation Commission. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 4th day of March, 1992. bv the following vote:
