RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
ACCEPTING OFFER OF DEDICATION
WHEREAS, an Offer of Dedication of an easement for
Pedestrian Access h~s been made pertaining to certain real property
situated in the City of Saratoga, county of Santa Clara, state of
California, and
WHEREAS, such Offer of Dedication including the legal
description of such property, is attached as exhibit "AU hereto and
made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the city council has determined that acceptance of
the offer of dedication pertaining to said easement would be in the
public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE; the city COUncil of the City of Saratoga
hereby accepts the offer of dedication with respect to the easement
hereinabove described and shown on Exhibit A attached heréto:
The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to record a
certified copy of this resolution in the Office of the Recorder for
Santa Clara County, california.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and6~opted by the
saratoga City council at a .etinq held on the th day of

OFFER TO DEDICATE EASEMENT FOR WALKWAY PURPOSES
For valuable consideration, the undersigned owners of the herein-
after described real property, hereby warranting that they constitute
all of the owners thereof, for themselves, their heirs, successors
and assigns, hereby irrevocably offer to dedicate to the city of
Saratoga, a Municipal Corporation, an easement for a public walkway
under, over, and across that cert ·In real property situated in the
city of Saratoga, County of Santa Clara, State of California. Said
property is more particularly described as follows:
Being an easement for pedestrian access, extending through
Lot 35 of Tract 4673, as recorded in Book 255 of Maps at Pages 9
and 10, Office of the County Recorder, Santa Clara County,
California, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said Lot 35, said
point also lying on the right of way line of Rice Court; thence
along the southerly property line of said Lot S-66-20'-51"-W
171.06 feet to an angle point in said line; thence on a
southwesterly projection of said line S-66-20'-5l"-W 64.25 feet
to the south line of said lot; thence along said line
S-89-34'-02"-W 165.27 feet;
Thence leaving said line at right angle N-0-25'-5S"-W 12.00
feet; thence parallel with said south line N-89-34'-02"-E lSl.35
feet to a point 5.00 teet, measured at right angle from aforesaid
southwesterly prolongation of the southeastèrly property line;
thence parallel with said southeasterly line N-66-20'-51"-E
214.09 feet to the easterly property line of said Lot 35 and the
right of way line of Rice court; thence along the easterly line
of said Lot and said right of way line having a radius of 42
feet, a central angle of 6-48'-57", and an arc length of 5.02
feet to the point of beginning.

Thè undersigned understand that the within offer can only be accepted
by resolution of the city Council of the city of Saratoga, and re-
cordation of this instrument shall not and will not constitute accept-
ance of the within offer to dedicate. This offer shall be irrevocable
and shall be binding upon our heirs, personal representatives, suc-
cessors and assigns. The plural as used herein shall include the
singular, and the singular shall include the plural.
