A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
ESTABLISi[IIKI TIlE 1994-95 FISCAL YEAR
APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR THE CITY OF SARATOGA
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga has established its Base Year
a~propriation limit as $5,9.61,747 (Five Nillion, Nine Hundred
Sixty-one Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-seven Dollars)I and
WHEREAS, the cumulative appropri ate changes to the City · s
population, the Consumer PriCe Index, and per capita income
statewide since the Base Year established the revised Proposition
111 1993-94 Fiscal Year Appropriation Limit as $13,568,358
(Thirteen Million, Five Hundred Sixty Eight Thousand, Three Hundred
Fifty Eight Dollars)I and
WHEREAS, to the best of this City's knowledge and belief, the State
Department of Finance figures provided to this City in response to
Proposition 111 passed by the voters in June 1990, as audited,
reflect the a pro riate statistics relevant to the calculation of
the 1994-95 F[sc:~ Year Appropriation Limit:
Per Capita Personal Income change on a March-to-March basis
for the period ending March, 1994, .71% (point seven one percent)=
Population adjustments for 1994, 1.16% (One point one six
percent).
NOW, TIIBR~FORE, it is hereby resolved as follows:
Based on the foregoing figures and the provisions of
Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California, the
following figure accurately represents the 1994-95 Fiscal Year
Appropriation Limit for the City of Saratoga: $13,822,617
(Thirteen Nillion, Eight Hundred TWenty Two Thousand, Six Hundred
Seventeen Dellars. )
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 15th day
of June, 1994, by the following vote:
