RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SARATOGA TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SOUTH BAY
CLEAN CITIES COALITION (SBCCC) AND THE FEDERAL "CLEAN CITIES"
PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA, that
1. The City of Saratoga is authorized to participate and become
a member in the South Bay Clean Cities Coalition (SBCCC); and
2. The City Manager is authorized to execute a non-binding
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the SBCCC, thus
enabling that Coalition to file a South Bay regional
application with the U.S. Department of Energy for a "Clean
Cities" designation with the potential funding advantages that
may accrue to the cities of the Coalition.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the
Saratoga City Council at an adjourned regular meeting held on the
27th day of September, 1994, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Jacobs, Moran, Tucker, Wolfe and Mayor Burger
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
