A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY 'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES
OF TME STATE OF CALIFORNIA
TO PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
WHEREAS, California Public Contract Code Section 10324 authorizes
the Department of General Services of the State of California to
make purchases of materials, equipment, or supplies, other than
printed material, in excess of five-hundred dollars ($500), on
behalf of cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saratoga from time to time
desires and finds that it is beneficial to acquire materials,
equipment and supplies through the State procurement processes.
NOW, THEREFOR, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby
resolves that the State of California, Department of General
Services, Office of Procurement, is authorized to purchase
materials, equipment and supplies on behalf of the City of Saratoga
pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 10324 upon written request
of the City.
FURTHER, the City Manager, as the Purchasing Officer for the City
of Saratoga, is hereby authorized and directed to sign and deliver
to the State all purchase requests and other documents in
connection therewith for and on behalf of the City of Saratoga.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at
