ARESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
ESTABLISHING THE 1995-96 FISCAL YEAR
APPROPRIATION LIMIT FORT HE CITY OF SARATOGA
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga has established its Base Year

appropriation liml as $5,961, (Five Nillion, Nine Hundred
Sixty-one Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-seven Dollars)= and
WHEREAS, the cumulative a ropriate changes to the City's
population, the Consumer ~e Index, and par capita income
statewide since the Base Year established the revised Proposition
111 1994-95 Fiscal Year Appropriation Limit as $14,113,809
(Fourteen Million, One Hundred Thirteen Thousand, Eight Hundred
Nine Dollars) as adJusted~ and
WHEREAS, to the best of this City's knewledge and belief, the State
Department of Finance figures provided to this City in response to
Proposition 111 passed by the voters in June 1990, as audited,
reflect the ~ypropriate statistics relevant to the calculation of
the 1995-96 seal Year Appropriation Limit:
Per Capita Personal Income change for fiscal year 1995-96,
plus 4.72% (Four point seven two parcent)~
Population adjustments for 1995, plus 3.30% (Three pointthree
zero percent).
NON, THEREFORE, it is hareby resolved as follows:
Section 1: Based on the foregoing figures and the provisions of
Article XIIIB of the Constitution of the State of California, the
foilswing figure accurately represents the 1995-96 Fiscal Year
Appropriation Limit for the City of Saratoga: $15,267,720
(Fifteen Nillion, Two Hundred Sixty-seven Thousand, Seven Hundred
Twenty Dellars.)
Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
resolution.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Saratoga City Council held on the 21st day
of June, 1995, by the foilswing vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Jacobs, Moran, Tucker, Wolfe and Mayor Burger
