Worker 10.00 Program Assistant 9.00 9.75 10.50 11.25 Facility Coordinator 13.00 14.00 15.00 16.00 The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Saratoga held on July 19, 1995, by the following vote: AYES: Council members 3acobs, Moran, Tucker, Wolfe and Mayor Burger NOES: None ABSENT: None '~MA ATTEST: DEPUTY CITY CLE~ July 1, 1995 FACILITY COORDINATOR Part-time/Temporary PAY RANGE: Step A Step B Step C Step D $i3.00 $i4.00 $i5.00 $16.0o BENEFITS: n/a THE POSITION: The Facility Coordinator, working under the general supervision of the Recreation Director, administers the marketing, scheduling, and coordination of the rental of city facilities and parks. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: o Books requests for rental of city facilities and parks. o Hires, trains, schedules and supervises facility attendants. o Markets and promotes the use of city facilities and parks to groups and individuals. o Calculates and receives rental fees, executes rental agreements, reconciles and deposits funds. o Responds to inquiries from the public regarding city facilities and parks o Assists with other Recreation Department activities and events as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: KDow~edge. of: Basic concepts of marketing and sales; office practices and procedures including proper telephone and reception techniques; basic records retention systems. Ability. t0: Work effectively with a wide variety of people and provide excellent customer service; organize activities and work independently; input, process, compute and reconcile financial data; operate a variety of office equipment including calculators, computers and related software. ~.ducation and Experience: Sufficient education and experience to satisfactorily perform the duties of this classification. A typical qualifying background would be graduation from high school and three years of administrative support experience. Experience in sales and marketing highly desirable.
