HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 95-40 RESOLUTION NO. 95-40 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA APPOINTING A CORPORATION REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE SMALL CLAIMS DIVISION OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Saratoga, a municipal corporation in the State of California, that it is desirable and necessary to appoint an agent for this corporation to act for and in its behalf in the Small Claims Division of the Municipal Court, Santa Clara County Judicial District, County of Santa Clara, State of California, and WHEREAS it further appears that the City Codes Administrator, the Community Services Officers, the Community Services Clerk, the Community Development Director, and the Finance Director are suitable individuals for such appointment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Saratoga that the City Codes Administrator, the Community Services Officers, the Community Services Clerk, the Community Development Director, and the Finance Director be and hereby are appointed to represent and appear for said corporation in the lawful process of any and all claims filed in said court, for and on behalf of said corporation. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a meeting held on the 20th day of September, 1995, bythe following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Burger, Moran, Wolfe and Mayor Jacobs NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Tucker Mayor ATTEST: Deputy City
