A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA
MAKING APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS TO THE
FISCAL YEAR 2000/01 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No 00-38 adopting the budget for Fiscal Years
2000-01 and 2001-02 on June 21, 2000; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said Resolution, the City Manager has recommended
further changes to the City's budget; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to mitigate street drainage and storm lines and improve pathways,
using unanticipated State Transportation Funds from AB 2928, for a cost not to exceed $224,000;
and
WHEREAS, $224,000 was received in State Transportation Funds (AB 2928) in October, 2000,
which is sufficient to fund this work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the recommendations of the City Manager and
believes that implementing these further changes will be in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves to increase the
appropriations for the pathway and minor drainage improvements project by $224,000, and to
increase revenues from State grants.
AND BE IT FURATHER RESOLVED, the above adjustments to the City of Saratoga's Fiscal
Year 2000-01 budget will be made using the.following entries:

The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at an adjourned meeting of the
Saratoga City Council held on the 15th day of November, 2000, by the following vote:
