RESOLUTION NO. 03-015
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SARATOGA
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga City Council has determined that by their very nature many
construction are unsightly and regulations are needed to screen neighborhood from construction
sites; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saratoga City Council has determined that Article 16, Building
Regulations of the Saratoga City Code should be amended to include regulations that would
require construction sites to be fenced and kept clean and orderly; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby resolve as follows:
That the Staff proceed with the preparation of amendments to Article 16 of the Saratoga
Code and that a Public Hearing be scheduled before the city Council at a future agenda_
SECTION L The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby finds that:
. Better neighborhood compatibility could be achieved if the Building regulations found in
Article 16 of the Saratoga City Code were amended.
. That construction sites that are open to full view can be an unsightly intrusion to the
neighborhood.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Saratoga
City Council held on March 5, 2003.
