HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 03-049 -no Environmental impact for amendments to Zoning code RESOLUTION NO. 03-049 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA GRANTING NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT TO THE AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION ORDINANCES OF THE SARATOGA CODE Environmental Determination for Amendments to Section 15-12 and 15-45 of the Zoning Ordinance and Chapter 14 (Subdivision Ordinance) WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed Public Hearing at which time all interested parties were given full opportunity to be heard and to present evidence; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there are no significant environmental impacts related to the amendments of the Saratoga Zoning and Subdivision Codes; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the information included in the Initial Study of Environmental Impact attached hereto. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1. After careful consideration of the information provided in the Staff Report, the Initial Study and from verbal testimony, the City Council determines that there are no environmental impacts associated with the proposed amendments to the Zoning and Subdivision Section 2. Pursuant to the requirements of the Saratoga City Code and the California Environmental Quality Act, this Resolution shall become effective fifteen (15) days from the date of adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Saratoga, State of California on July 16, 2003 by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmembers Kathleen King, Norman Kline, Vice Mayor Ann Waltonsmith, Mayor Nick Streit NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Stan Bogosian ABSTAIN: None ~/' Nick Streit, Mayor A
