HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 03-064 -amendments to tree regulations RESOLUTION NO. 03-064 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SARATOGA GRANTING NEGATIVE DECLARATION OF ENVIRNMENTAL IMPACT TO THEAMENDMENTS AND RE-ADOPTION OF THE TREEREGULATIONS OF THE SARA TOGA CODE Environmental Determination for Amendment and re-adoption of the City of Saratoga Tree Regulations WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed Public Hearing at which time all interested parties were given full opportunity to be heard and to present evidence; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there are no significant environmental impacts related to the amendments and re-adoption of the Tree Regulations of the Saratoga General Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the information included in the Initial Study of Environmental Impacts attached hereto; and NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Saratoga does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1. After careful consideration of the information provided in the Staff Report, the Initial Study and from verbal testimony, the City Council determines that there are no environmental impacts associated with the proposed amendments to the Tree Regulations, Section 2. Pursuant to the requirements of the Saratoga City Code and the California Environmental Quality Act, this resolution shall become effective fifteen (15) days from the date of adoption. The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Saratoga City Council at a regular meeting held on the 17tl, day of September 2003, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Kathleen King, Norman Kline, Vice Mayor Ann Waltonsmith, Mayor Nick Streit NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT Councilmember Stan Bogosian (\J~ Nick Streit, Mayor City of Saratoga
