A RESOLUTXON ESTABLISHING BICYCLE LANES UPON,
AND PROHIBITING PARKING ON SARATOGA-SUNNYVALE ROAD
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves as
follows:
~ Based upon an engineering and traffic study,
and pursuant to Section 9-60.050 of the Saratoga City Code, the
following designated portions of streets in the City of Saratoga
are hereby declared to be bicycle lanes, and the following limits
for parking of motor vehicles are hereby established for said
bicycle lanes:

Saratoga-Sunnyvale A one-way bicycle lane NO PARKING ANYTIME
Road (State Route consisting of a minimum
SS) 4.0 foot wide strip lo-
cated at the westerly
side of Saratoga-Sunny-
vale Road between Big
Basin Way and Prospect
Road.
A one-way bicycle lane NO PARKING ANYTIME
consisting of a minimum
4.0 foot wide strip lo-
cated at the easterly
side of Saratoga-Sunny-
vale Road between Sara-
toga Avenue and Prospect
Road.
~ Such of the hereinabove set forth regulations
as established for bicycle lanes on State Highways shall become
effective at such time as the requisite consent thereto and
approval thereof by the Department of Transportation of the State
of California has been obtained.
SectionI31: The hereinabove set forth "No Parking"
provisions shall not prohibit theperking of motor vehicles for the
purpose of making deliveries to properties contiguous to said
bicycle lanes for a period of not in excess of five (5) minutes.
~ This resolution shall become effective at such
time as the proper signs and markings are installed.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Saratoga at a regular meeting
