RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING: "YIELD" INTERSECTIONS
AT MILLER AVENUE AND CANDY lANE, MILLER AVENUE AND CANDY COURT,
MILLER AVENUE AND MABEL COURT, MILLER AVENUE AND MELINDA CIRCLE
(WEST): THREE-WAY "STOP" INTERSECTIONS AT: MILLER AVENUE AND ME-
LINDA CIRCLE (EAST), MILLER AVENUE AND SOMERVILLE DRIVE: "NO
PARKING ANY TIM" ON PORTIONS OF MILLER AVENUE
The City Council of the City of Saratoga hereby resolves
as follows:
SECTION I: Based on an engineering and traffic study, the
intersection of Miller Ave. and Candy Lane in
the City of Saratoga is hereby designated as a"Yield" inter-
section.
All vehicles traveling on Candy Lane shall yield to traffic
on Miller Avenue before entering or crossing the intersection thereof.
This section shall become effective at such time as the "Yield" signs
are erected.
SECTION II: Based on an engineering and traffic study the inter-
section of Miller Ave. and Candy Court in the City of
Saratoga is hereby designated as a "Yield" intersection.
All vehicles traveling on Candy Court shall yield to traffic
on Miller Avenue before entering or crossing the intersection there-
of. This section shall become effective at such time as the "Yield"
signs are erected.
SECTION III: Based.on an engineering and traffic study the inter-
section of Miller Ave. and Mabel Ct. in the City of
Saratoga is hereby designated as a"Yield" intersection.
All vehicles traveling on Mabel Court shall yield to traffic
on Miller Avenue before entering or crossing the intersection there-
of. This section shall become effective at such time as the "Yield"
signs are erected.
SECTION IV: Based on an engineering and traffic study, the inter-
section of Miller Ave. and Melinda Circle (west) in
the City of Saratoga. is hereby designated as a "Yield" intersection.
All vehicles traveling on Melinda Circle (west) shall yield to
traffic on Miller Avenue before entering or crossing the intersection
thereof. This section shall become effective at such time as the
"Yield" signs are erected.
SECTION V: Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the following
intersections in the City of Saratoga are hereby desig-
nated as stop intersections:
MILLER AVENUE AND SOMERVILLE DRIVE
All vehicles traveling on Miller Ave., both southeastbound and
northwestbound, shall stop before entering or crossing the intersection
thereof with Somerville Drive.
All vehicles traveling northeastbound on Somerville Drive shall
stop before entering or crossing the intersection thereof with Miller
Avenue.

This section shall become effective at such time as the proper
signs are installed.
SECTION VI: Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the
following intersections?in the City of Saratoga. are
hereby designated as stop intersections:
MILLER AVENUE AND MELINDA CIRCLE (EAST)
All vehicles traveling on Miller Ave., both southeastbound and
northwestbound, shall stop before entering or crossing the intersection
thereof with Melinda Circle (east).
All vehicles traveling southwestbound on Melinda Circle (east)
shall stop before entering or crossing the intersection thereof with
Miller~venue.
This section shall become effective at such time as the proper
signs are installed.
SECTION VII: Based upon an engineering and traffic study, the follow-
ing designated portion of street in the City of Saratoga
is hereby declared to be a congested area, and the following limit for
parking of motor vehicles is hereby established for said portion of
said street:

The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Saratoga at the regular meeting held
on the 15th day of August, 1973, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, Dwyer, Bridges, Diridon and Kraus~
