TIME: 7:40 P.M., February 11, 1957

PRESENT: Anderson, Bennett, Cameron, Crisp, Hidgins, Pasetta,
Webster, Bachman
The meeting was devoted to procedures. The following decisions
were made:
RULES FOR TRANSACTION OF BUSINESS
1. Chairman Crisp appointed Commissioner C~meron and the Secretary
as a committee of two to determine procedure in connection with
the agenda.
2. Closing of the agenda was set at D-6.
3. Subdivision - When a tentative map is submitted, the map will be
submitted to the Santa Clara Planning Department for technical
workup and at the same time the Chairman of the Saratoga City
Planning Commission will be notified.
4. It was agreed that the following type cases when received would
be immediately sent to the Planning Deoartment of the County of
Santa Clara for technical workup:
Architectural and Site Control
Change of Zoning
SubSivision
The followin~ cases will not be sent to the Planning Department:
Variance
Use Permit
Any deviation from the above procedure is at the discretion of
the Secretary.

A recommeudation of the entire Planni~ Commission that
10,000 sq. ft. be the minimum lot size and ~h~t all B-D
cl~ssific~tions should be changed to B-2 on all unrecorded
lots, should be made to the Saratoga City Council by the
Secretary.
5. Commissioner Bennett was appointed Chairman of the Subdivision
Committee. Commissioner Hlg2.jins was appointed Chairman of
the Architectural and Site Control Committee.
6. Subdivision Committee is to work on a master plan of the City
of Saratoga. The Architectural and Site Control committee is
to work on formation of a set of zoning regulations of the
City of Saratoga.
