Commissioner'Bennett moved for approval of the minutes as
distributed, and read by the individual commissioners. Com-
missioner Tiffany seconded. Carried unanimously.
II COMMITT~ REPORTS
ARCHITECTURAL & SITE CONTROL

Wandemere Commissioner Bennett moved for approval of the Off Tract
and Day
Subdivision Directional Signs subject to the following
conditions;-
l) Compliance with Ord. 3A-10;
2) Compliance with ~esigns as provided by the City.of
Saratoga, and at'locations shown on map on file.
Commissioner Tiffany seconded. Carried unanimously.
B.. SUBDIVISIONS AND BLDG. SITE APPROVALS
1. SDR-126 - E. W. Horton (Cont.)
SDR-126
Horton Chairman Webster ordered the matter continued to the
next regular meeting and directed the secretary to
notify the applicant that action Will be taken one
way or another at that time.
2. SDR-139 - Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

Prince of CommissiOner Pasetta read the report of the Subdivision
Peace
~utheran Committee dated August 7, 1959.
Church
Mr. S'obey, architect for the church, spoke of grading
the property to Cox Ave.
Commissioner Pasetta moved for app~ova~ of the tentative
map subject to the conditions read. Commissioner Crisp
seconded. Carried unanimously.

Commissioner Pasetta read the report and sugges.t~ons
of the Subdivision Committee dated ~ugust 7,' 1959.
Mr. Makin spoke in favor of the site.
Chairman Webster directed that the matter be continued
for 2 weeks in order that the applicant and his engineer
might'have an epportunity to meet with the Health Department~

Orthodox Reverend Zelneronok discussed the conditions with the
Church
commissioners.
Commissioner Pasetta moved for approval of the tentative
map subject to the conditions read. Commissioner Anderson
seconded. Carried unanimously.
III PUBLIC HEARINGS
~. Change of Zoning
1. C-23 - Norvell Thompson (Cont.) 7:50 P.M.

Thompson The secretary read the application for a change of zoning
and stated that the public hearing had been continued
from the last meeting.
Mr. Tom Alford, attorney, and Mrs. N. Thompson spoke in
favor of the rezoning. No one else in the audience
wished to speak for or against the application. The
secretary stated that there had been no further com-
munications since those announced at the last meetihg.
Chairman Webster closed the public hearing at 8 P.M.
Commissioner Crisp moved that the change of zoning
from R1-B2 to ~-H for parcel (1) as shown on Exhibit A,
be recommended to the City Council. Commissioner
Anderson seconded. Carried Unanimously.
IV PETITIONS ~D GRE~VANCES
A. W~itten
1. The secretary distributed the Planning Consultants
second progress report-on the Saratoga General Plan.
B.' 0ral
1. The City Administrator stated that a regular mohthly
study session with the planning consultant should be
held starting in September.
Commissioner Bennett moved that the third Monday
in each month, 7:.30.P.M., be the time and date for
such stmdy sessionS. Commissioner Crisp seconded.
Carried unanimously'.
Chairman Websher expressed appreciation of Commissioner
Pasettas Services to thS Planning Commission.
Chairman Webster ordered the meeting adjourned at 8:.07 P.M.
