After discussion, Commissioner O'Rorke moved, seconded by Commis- sioner Crisp, that the public hearing on UP-104 be closed; motion carried unanimously and the hearing was closed at 7:50 P.M. SDR-642 - Dr. James Marino, Montalvo Lane - Buildin~ Site Approval - 1 Lot The Secretary explained 1) Dr. Marino's application had been filed not only after the official closing date for the agenda but after the agenda had been prepared and the tentative maps (for the agenda) had been transmitted to the various agencies 2) the applicant had explained that the time element was of the utmost importance in this '.': matter and had requested that the application be presented to the : Commission despite the late filing date and 3) while the Building Site Committee had met with the applicant (earlier in the afternoon) and preliminary conditions had been drafted. there had not been ade- quate time for preparation of the finalized report from the Building Site Committee. . ' The applicant was present and stated that while he had obtained a ""'-~" " Grading and Excavation Permit from the City several month ago so that work on this lot could begin, he had not realized that he wa~ required ... to file for Building Site Approval. Beadnell, Saratoga Avenue - Final Design Review - Identification Sign - Continued from 23May 1966 Commissioner O'Rorke advised that the Committee had reviewed the plans for the subject sign and found same satisfactory. He further advised, however, that the'Committee recommended that the approval be conditioned to require removal of the extraneous light fixtures left in the frame from the previous sign. ?...
