DR-89-039 - Pearce, 14857 Bohlman Rd. A review of minor alterations to approved plans for the construc- tion of a single family residence. Mr. Avilas, the architect, presented the proposed change required by the structural engineer. A small storage room was added to straighten a building wall and the reduction of the ridgeline height. The Committee concurred with staff determination that the change was minor and can be approved administratively. 2. DR-90-014 - Bhatnagar, 15092 Sobey Rd. The architect reviewed the plans to revise the interior basement space to reduce the complexity of the foundation wall. Addition- ally, the architect showed a proposed ground level window in the basement area. Since the revisions did not increase building square footage and a negligible window change, the revisions could be considered minor and could be approved administratively. 3. Rogers & Brooks, San Marcos Heights Subdivision, Crisp Ave. The Committee reviewed the'proposed change to the sewer line extension within the development. Staff pointed out that the change was proposed to preserve several mature trees. While the sewer line extension would require some trees, they were deter- mined by the City Horticulturist to be inferior to the trees to be preserved. Staff stated that any tree removal will require re- placement within the subdivision. The Committee concluded that the relocation of the sewer line would result in a positive change which could be handled adminis- tratively. The Planning Director presented the applicant's request to install entry treatments at both Crisp and Gypsy Hill entrances. The Planning Director stated his concern regarding any barrier at Crisp as of the subdiv anticipated to blend with the existing neighborhood. The Committee concluded that this request should be reviewed at a public hearing after the Commissioners had the opportunity to review the site conditions. 4. City of Saratoga, Review of a Draft Noise Ordinance Amending Article 7-30 of the City Code The City Attorney reviewed both the existing ordinance and the proposed draft. He than responded to Committee and public ques- tions. ADJOURNMENT Respectfully submitted Planning Director
