SEPTEMBER 24, 1974
I. ORGANIZATION
A. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioners Campbell, Earley, and Chairman Hall
Absent: Commissioners Falt~rick and Olsen
Guests: Mr. Robert F. Beyer (Saratoga City Manager)
B. Minutes
It was moved by Commissioner Ear!ey and seconded by Commissioner
Campbell that the minutes for the meeting of August 6, 1974 be
approved.
II. SELECTION OF LIBRARY COMMISSION MEMBER TO SERVE ON ARCHITECT SELECTION
COMMITTEE FOR A NEW BRANCH LIBRARY FACILITY
The City Manager reviewed for the members of the Commission that under
the lease agreement with the County of Santa Clara a process was established
creating a committee for the selection of the architect. The Committee's
prime responsibility is to recommend to the City Council an architect for this
proposed project. The committee will have on it one representative from the
Saratoga Library Commission as well as a representative of the City Council,
the County Library Commission, the County Librarian and the City Manager.
After some discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Campbell and
seconded by Chairman Hall that Commissioner Earley be the Library Co~issiom's
representative to this committee.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at approximately
5:35 p.m.
