SUPPQRT_FQR_~RST_~ALLEY_AQ~ATIC_T~A~ Joan reviewed West Valley Aquatic Team's request for in kind contributions from the City. They want to copy their fliers twice a year, have access to a meeting room at the Community Center once a month, publicity in our summer brochure and to put information on the swim team in the brochure year-round. They are interested in co-sponsoring some programs with us. Their liability insurance will not allow them to give swim lessons, however, they can do competitive swimming type programs. They proposed co-sponsoring "Intro to Competitive Swimming". The Commission unanimously recommends support and Joan will prepare a report to Council recommending approval. B. E~MIE~_QE_T~IL_~kS Dan showed a computer drafted copy of the Trails and Pathways Map which defines the trails more clearly than previous maps. After much discussion, it was decided that it would be necessary to walk the trails in order to determine the condition of each trail. Before dividing into separate groups to study the trails, the Commission will pick one trail, meet there and establish criteria for rating trails. Dan will provide maps.
