were present and expressed their opinions on
refurbishing the park. Dan explained that a petition
was also circulated by those opposed to any development
of the park and that staff had not yet gathered enough
information to schedule a public hearing. Neighbors
present expressed concerns that the park would be left
open to abuse if it is not developed. Dan asked if
anyone would be interested in forming a committee to put
together a proposal for a public hearing on November 7,
1988. Cindy Press, David deSimone, Tricia Hoffman,

with staff on a proposal to present at the public
hearing. The Commssion would then present it to Council
