Vice Chairman Saunders called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
I. ORGANIZATION
A. RQLL CALL - Present: Clemens, Franklin, Gilman,Pierce, Saunders,
Swan,
Absent: Ward
Staff: Rizzo, Tare, Trinidad
B. MINUTES - Approval of Minutes - 4/2/90. Minutes were approved
as submitted. Pierce/Swan. Passed 6-0.
C. POSTING OF THE AGENDA
Pursuant to Government Code 54954.2, the agenda for this meeting was
properly posted on May 2, 1990.
II. OLD BUSINESS
A. After listening to the presentations from Singer & Hodges,
Inc., David L. Gates & Associates, and Wallace, Roberts & Todd
candidates vieing for Parks & Trails Master Plan consultant;
and, after discussing the pros and cons of each, the
Commissioners decided that, based on their experience and
special expertise, Wallace. Roberts & Todd would be best suited
to our needs.
NEW BUSINESS
A. The Commissioners approved staff's recommendation to apply for
Roberti-Z'Berg-Harris funds for Kevin Moran Park. (Note: At
the City Council meeting of May 16, Council modified the
proposed recommendation to target Beauchamps Park for these
funds instead.)

V. COMMUNICATIONS
A new schedule for the Commissioners' attendance at City
Council meetings is attached.
