SARATOGA PARKS ~DRECR~ATION COMMISSION
TIME: MONDAY, MARCH 4, I991 - 7:30 P.M.
PLACE: SARATOGA COMMUNITY CENTER

TYPE: Regular Meeting
Chairman Ward called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
I. ORGANIZATION
A. RQLL CALL - Present: Crotty, Franklin, Miller,
Swan, Ward
Absent:Pierce
Staff:Pisani, Rizzo, Trinidad, Tare
B. MINUTES - Approval of Minutes - 2/4/91. Minutes were
approved, Crotty/Gilman, with changes from
Joan Pisani regarding the Warner Hutton House.
C. POSTING OF THE AGENDA
Pursuant to Government Code 54954.2, the agenda for this meeting
was properly posted on February 27, 1991.
II. OLD BUSINESS
A. Secretary Trinidad reviewed the background of Wallace,
Roberts & Todd in regards to their proposal and fees. Staff
recommended that the Commission support their approval of the
Beauchamps Park proposal and forwarding it to Council
for final endorsement.
Motion to approve: Franklin/Swan - 6/0
III. NEW BUSINESS
A. The Urban Forestry Task Force request for a volunteer was
discussed by staff and the Commissioners. Chairman Ward
volunteered to obtain more information and stated that if it
was within his scope, he would be the representative for the
City.

IV. COMMISSION AND STAFF REPORTS
A. Commissioner Crotty reviewed the following projects she
is working on for her internship with the City:
1) Commissioner Handbook/Special Session in May
2) Library Xeriscape
3) Grant Fund Project for San Marcos Heights Trails
B. The upcoming CPRS was discussed.
