I. ORGANIZATION

C. POSTING OF THE AGENDA
Pursuant to Government Code 54954.2, the agenda for this meeting
was properly posted on 2/24/93.
II. A. CARNELIAN GLEN TRAIL REPORT TIMELINE
Secretary Trinidad advised the Commission that he would be able
to prepare a detailed timeline and report for one of the upcoming
summer meetings.
III. A. SD 92-008 19852 DOUGLASS LANE - 10.8 ACRE SUBDIVISION
After listening to background from Secretary Trinidad, the
Commission approved-staff's recommendation for dedication of a
pedestrian/equestrian easement along the southerly boundary
which will extend the existing pedestrian easement at the
southwest corner of the subdivision to Taos Drive. Easement to
be located adjacent to Douglass Lane street right-of-way.

III. B. SD 92-006 ~425Q DOUGLASS LANE - 3.06 ACRE SUBDIVISION
After listening to background from Secretary Trinidad, the
Commission approved the recommendation from staff to dedicate
the pedestrian/equestrian easement along the westerly boundary
which will connect with the existing pedestrian/equestrian
easement at the southern edge of the property. Pierce/Dutra 5/0

C. ADOPT-A-CREEK pROGRAM
Secretary Trinidad provided what information he could and
suggested that the Commission appoint a sub-committee to be
involved with this project. The City's role would be to
organize volunteers and to assist the Water District in
disseminating information. The Commission decided to defer
appointments until Chairperson Swan contacted Commissioners
Crotty and Barnard who were absent. Miller/Clark 5/0.
IV. COMMISSION AND STAFF REPORTS
A. Monthly RePort on Council Meetings
Commissioner Dutra, having attended the previous month's
Council meetings, reported that the following were the main
issues: l) Ravenwood neighbor Charles Shaw stated that a
majority of neighbors do not want the Park, 2) Don Whetstone's
continued concern for the condition of Saratoga Creek, and 3)
the Wildwood disabled bathrodm, suggested by the Commission, was
not funded through CDBG.
B) Joan Pisani discussed 1) mailing of the Community Center
activities brochure, 2) the Teen Center Brochure, 3) the
upcoming CPRS Conference and 4) the need for day care on campus
for parents.
C) A 10-minute video on the National Parks Conservation
Association was brought in by Commissioner Dutra and
viewed by the Commissioners.
V. COMMUN I CAT ! ONS
A) The Trail Development Checklist, which was put together by
the City Engineer and Planning Director, was reviewed by Secretary
Trinidad who explained the Commission's responsibility
in seeing that City trails were built to standard.
