I. ORGANIZATION
A. ROLL CALL - Present: Clark, Crotty, Dutra,
Weiner
Absent: Barnard, Miller, Swan
Staff: Perlin, Pisani, Rizzo
B. MINUTES

Minutes of the May 15, 1995 meeting were amended and
approved at 6:55PM when a Commission quorum was
present. The amendment changed the last item under
Section III, regarding sending a letter to the City
Council supporting the Tree Preservation Committee.
This motion should have been recorded as being made
and seconded as: Weiner/Dutra. Clark/Weiner 4/0
C. POSTING OF THE AGENDA
Pursuant of Government Code 54954.2 the agenda for
this meeting was posted on the City Hall Kiosk
June 9, 1995.
II. OLD BUSINESS
None
III. NEW BUSINESS
A) Review of the proposed FY 95/96 and 96~97 Eec~eation
and Park Maintenance Budgets.
Recreation Director Joan Pisani summarized and
explained the FY 95/96 and 96/97 Recreation Budget.
She described the activities, staffing, and events
that are being changed. The Commissioners engaged
Mrs. Pisani in a discussion about the significance
of the changes and the other options considered.
Public Works Director Larry Perlin summarized and
explained the FY 95/96 and 96/97 Park Maintenance
Budget. He described the continuations and changes
in park maintenance, staffing and capital
improvements. The Commissioners discussed with Mr.
Perlin the alternatives considered, and actions that
could reduce park maintenance costs. They also
discussed the different funding sources for park
maintenance and capital improvements to the parks.

C. Recreation Department Status Report - Joan
Pisani:
Joan Pisani reported that Primary Plus will allow
E1 Quito Park users to park in their parking lot
after business hours. She also reported that she
contacted the Saratoga Recreation League teams
using E1 Quito Park and reminded them to be
considerate of the local homeowners while at the
Park.
D. Park Maintenance DivisioR Update , Bob Rizzo:
Bob Rizzo reported that the installation of the new
playground equipment and frontage work is almost
completed at Kevin Moran Park. It will be completed
after volunteers from Boy Scout Troop 566 (9??)
assist on Thursday June 16.
Bob Rizzo reported that future Saturday morning
soccer games at E1 Quito Park are to be scheduled
to start at 9AM.
