MINUTES
No minutes were reviewed.
A. House Tour Discussion with the California History Center
Insurance for the event through the College District fell through.
Another insurance broker has been contacted and there is a 95% chance
that the insurance may be obtained through him at a cost of $tS00.00.
The decision was mmde that if definite word on ~hether the insurance
could be purchased was not received by tomorrow at noon, then the
event would be cencelled.
The job of collecting and putting up the parking signs was assigned to
Commissioner Koepernik, A-frame signs will be picked up on Friday
from the City ~aintenance yard and witi be put up on Sunday.
Other assignments were given as to who was to bring item5 to mix the
lemonade, piastic bags for the wine to be kept in ice~ pitchers for
cream~ cork screws and flower pots with sand. Betsy from the
Celifornia History Center prepared an evaluation form which was
circulated for comments. Commissioner Voester suggested treat if
people noted on the evaluation forms that they would like to volunteer'
for next year's even~, appropriate follow-up needs to be made.
There was agreement that since the ticket sales are low, hiring
deputte~ to help people crossing the street at Saratoga-Los Garbs ~d.
would not be necessary, Chairperson Landsness stated that this was
reviewed with the Planning Director who did not have an objection to
this change.
Arrangements were made as to who would be at Villa Oeodora on Saturday
to help set up. Times were holed for those who woutd set up on Sunday
morning, The meeting ~ith the California History Center was adjorned
at 5:15 p,m. so that Commission business could be discussed.

There was concensus that the following budget should be proposed:
Insurance money for events $1000.00
Rental of Bldg. for Town Meeting 400.00
Student help for survey <100 hrs, ~ $S/hr,) 600.00
Training for Commissioners (? books ~ $20/book) t40,00

B. Commissioner Cameron was assigned to review periodical in¢orm~ion
fro~ the National Trust and thm Main Street Program. CoMmi~sionmr
Cameron suggested that the Main Street information should b~
distributed to the Village 8eautification ~ssociation.
