I. BUSINESS
The ComMission conducted a photographic survey of the potential
historic district~ bounded by Park Place~ Oak Place, LaPaloMa and
Saratoga Ave. The photographic survey will be presented to the Planning
Director to initltiatm the process of documenting the historic
district.
II. ADJOURNMENT
The nearing was adjourned at S:30 p.M.

SUBJECT: HISTORIC DISTRICT DESIGNATION
Upon the suggestion of the City Manager, the Heritage
Preservation Commission is advising the Council of the intent to
proceed with the documentation of the Residential Historical
District bounded by Park Place, Oak Place, La Paloma and
Saratoga Avenue. The Heritage Preservation Commission will be
documenting the historically significant and contributing
structures in the district and then will turn over the
information to the Planning Commission. Since this will involve
time as well as a considerable amount of the Heritage
Preservation Commission's time, the City Manager felt you should
be initially notified of the plans for the designation of this
historic district.
If the Council has any questions or problems with the proposal,
please contact the Commission.
