Review of a Proposed Subdivision at 14555 Big Basin Way The Commission was requested to review this application which involves the removal of an existing old barn. The history and age of the structure is not known. From the appearance and location of the structure it seems that the barn is a very old structure which may have been used as a stable or a blacksmith store. The Commission felt that although the age of the structure is not known the barn still fit in with the historic context of the Village and should be preserved. The Commission also felt the natural fabric of the Village should be preserved by maintaining the current density and existing open spaces within the Village. Consequently the Commission recommended that the barn be preserved if possible by relocation. If demolition is necessary the Commission recommended the wood of the structure be used on the site or as part of the proposed building. C. Fences and Walls along Saratoga Avenue This item was continued to the next HP Commission meeting on 11/?/90. XV. ITIN~ YAF~TX&TID BY THE COMMISSION A.
